Veteran Malayalam film and TV actor Vishnu Prasad has sadly passed away at the age of 49 in Kochi. He had been undergoing treatment for serious liver-related health issues and was waiting for a liver transplant.
The news of his untimely death came early Friday morning from a private hospital in Kochi, where he had been admitted for several weeks. As per close sources, Vishnu had been struggling with liver disease for months, and his condition was critical in the final days.

Family Was Raising Funds for His Treatment
Reports reveal that Vishnu’s family was in the process of arranging ₹30 lakh for his liver transplant. The Association of Malayalam Television Artists had stepped in to support the cause. In a touching gesture, one of his daughters had also volunteered to donate part of her liver, but unfortunately, the treatment couldn’t be completed in time.
